HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1140 - Service Appreciation to City Clerk Maxine Anderson ILA 1906 CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 1140 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, THANKING MAXINE ANDERSON FOR 22 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY. WHEREAS, Maxine Anderson was hired by the City of Tukwila in 1967. In the 22 years she was employed by the City, she worked in the departments of Public Works and Finance and served in the capacity of City Clerk for the past 13 years, and WHEREAS, Maxine was known by her co- workers and the citizens as "the lady with the answers." Her job knowledge, thoroughness, and willingness to assist with any question made her an invaluable asset to the City, and WHEREAS, Maxine was never too busy to take care of any request by citizen, whether large or small, and performed numerous services not routinely a part of her assigned duties, and WHEREAS, Maxine derived her satisfaction in doing the best job she could do and put the best interests of the City first, seeking no personal recognition for herself, and WHEREAS, Maxine's diligent performance throughout her tenure with the City has served as the highest standard of public service. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY: Express our deepest appreciation to Maxine for her devoted, faithful service to the City of Tukwila and recognize her as a most exemplary employee who shall be greatly missed by all.
