HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1143 - Administrative Clerk, Personnel Assistant and Administrative Services Director to Non-Represented Employee Salary Schedule (Repealed by Res 1388) ILA 1. 1908 CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 1143 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADDING THE POSITIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK, PERSONNEL ASSISTANT AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR TO THE NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEE SALARY SCHEDULE; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO FILL SAID POSITIONS PENDING A FORMAL BUDGET AMENDMENT; AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1125 BY CHANGING APPENDIX A. WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the reorganization of the Court, City Clerk, and Personnel Functions, and WHEREAS, The City Council desires to increase the efficiency of the Administrative Services functions of the City, and WHEREAS, appropriate personnel changes are needed to effect these changes, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Position Changes. PERSONNEL 1. Personnel Assistant position replaces Secretary position. 2. Administrative Services Director position replaces Personnel Officer position. 3. Administrative Clerk position added. CITY CLERK 4. Administrative Secretary position deleted. 5. Administrative Clerk position added. 6. Word Processing Technician position added. 7. Half -time Word Processing Technician position changed to Half -time Records Management Technician. Section 2. Amended Salary Schedule. Resolution No. 1125 is hereby amended by changing Appendix A and the salary schedule attached hereto as "Appendix A and by this reference thereto incorporated herein as if fully set forth and is effective immediately. The salary of the Administrative Services Director is tentatively set at the same rate as the Finance Director, Recreation Director, and City Engineer level pending an administrative salary review.
