RESOLUTION NO. 1152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RECOMMENDING THAT KING
COUNTY ADOPT A VEHICLE REGISTRATION FEE; AND
ESTABLISHING AN INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PRO-
GRAM FOR CITY USE OF THE FEES.
Whereas, the King County Council is considering an ordinance to establish a Vehicle
Registration Fee for the use of transportation purposes, and
Whereas, the City of Tukwila Transportation Committee recommends adoption of a
King County Vehicle Registration Fee Ordinance and using the revenues for an
intersection safety and capacity improvement program;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHING-
TON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE to recommend that the King County Council adopt a Vehicle
Registration Fee, and that Tukwila will use its share of those revenues for an intersection
safety and capacity improvements program.
