RESOLUTION NO. 1171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING DONATIONS
TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE TUKWILA
POLICE D.A.R.E. PROGRAM FOR USE IN PROMOTING
ABSTINENCE FROM DRUGS AND THANKING THOSE
WHO MADE CONTRIBUTIONS.
WHEREAS, the following have made a financial contribution toward the support of a
"Drug Abuse Resistance Education" (D.A.R.E.) program:
WALTER AND HANNELONE HERMAN
MR. JEFF ROBERTSON
SOROPTOMIST CLUB
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to accept these
contributions and to recognize those who so generously made them, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly acknowledge and record the
donation and express their appreciation upon the official record of this City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the contribution of $10.00 to the
D.A.R.E. program from Walter and Hannelone Herman.
Section 2. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the contribution of $30.00 to the
D.A.R.E. program from Mr. Jeff Robertson.
Section 3. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the contribution of $834.95 to the
D.A.R.E. program from the Soroptomist Club.
Section 4. The City of Tukwila hereby expresses its gratitude and appreciation for their
generous contributions. The City commends and recognizes each of the contributors.
