RESOLUTION NO. 1179 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING A
DONATION TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE
TUKWILA POLICE D.A.R.E. PROGRAM FOR USE IN
PROMOTING ABSTINENCE FROM DRUGS AND
THANKING THOSE WHO MADE CONTRIBUTIONS.
WHEREAS, the following organization has made a financial contribution towards the
"Drug Abuse Resistance Education" (D.A.R.E.) program,
DELTA CHAPTER NO. 109
ORDER OF EASTERN STAR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to accept their contribution
and to recognize those who so generously made them, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly acknowledge and record the
donation and express their appreciation upon the official record of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the contribution of $100.00 to the Tukwila Police
Department D.A.R.E. program from Delta Chapter No. 109, Order Of Eastern Star.
PASSED BY THE CITY COT NCIL OF THE CJfTY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this day of Dad .1991.
