Commercial construction consists of warehouse and office building space for re- packaging distribution of merchandise. 2. Total prop personnel to be employed for warehouse and office staff to consist of seven (7) persons. k 3. Plumbing facilities to accommodate entire buildi shall consist of two (2) rest rooms; each to contain one (1) water closet; onell) hand basin and one (1 indiv- idual shower stall. SETTIC TANK VOLUME: 1. Based on above figures, total daily sewage output would not exceed 350 gallons. (7 employees z 50 g.p.d, per person 350 total gallons.) 2. Septic tank Capacity 350 g.p.d. x 1.5 525 minimum allowable capacity in gallons. DRAINFIELD REQUIREMENTS: 1. Percolation rates obtAined on site 0 30" depth indicates dean average of 2.5 misr. utes per inch. Allowable rate of sewage application per table 10, page 39, U.S.P.H.S. Publication 526, based on above mean average would be 3.2 gallons per square foot per day. Minimum absorption area of 110 square feet or 55 lineal feet of standard two (2) foot trench required.• SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM INSTALLATION: 1. Based on above tabulation of proposed usage Designer recommends installation of a 1000 gallon Septic Tank and 130 lineal feet of standard two (2) foot drainfield trench. 2. Drainfield trenches shall be maintained in top 30" natural soil existing property grade. 3. Maximum cover over finished drainfield tile lines not to exceed 24 finish grade. 4. This system would be in excess of minimum requirements as tabulated above and would provide adequate service for moderate increase of employees in future if needed. 5. Tightlins under driveway to extend drainfield trenches to North side of property for future extension of drainfield trenches if needed. 6. Building specifications do not indicate asphalting or concret6ag of driveway and parking area, however, should this be done no asphalt or concrete surface shall t be placed over -any portion of the Drainfield leeching area. As far as we are concerned', the area was legally annexed and zoned and we have complied with 'the laws of the City and•State. Therefore' we `feel that our permit, is legal and have no intention of recinding it. However, there seems to be some question raised by th0 County regarding this area, as to whether it comes under ,the. jurisdiction of the County or the City, of `i'ukwila. We have furnished the .County wit h'; all the correspondence that was ever'received by the City of Tukwila in regard to the. area in .question and 'as yet have received no .word. from their, 1 office Therefore, under the laws of the City of 'Tukwila; 'you have the authority to proceed Frith the:building; but, if the area is determined to have been under the jurisdiction. of King County the time of the issuance of the building permit,` you of course realize this will be another matter.
