HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1194 - Petty Cash Fund and Change FundCITY OF TUKWILA A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, INCREASING THE PETTY CASH AND CHANGE FUNDS AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO 1132. WHEREAS, the City Council previously established Change Funds and Petty Cash Funds, most recently by Resolution No. 1132, and WHEREAS, there is a need to establish petty cash funds at the Fire Department in the amount of $75 00; Recreation Department in the amount of $250.00; at the Maintenance Shop at 14000 Interurban in the amount of $200 00; and reduce the Finance Department's petty cash fund from $750 00 to $500.00 which increases efficiency of reimbursement; and WHEREAS, there is a need to increase change in Finance (Water Fund) from $75 00 to $100.00 to provide adequate change making for customers; and WHEREAS, there is no longer a need to allocate $50.00 for a Fire Department Change Fund, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS. Section 1. The Change Funds established by Resolution #1132 are hereby changed as follows. Finance Department Municipal Court Park Recreation Golf Course These funds are restncted to making change only Section 2. The petty cash funds as shown below are established at the following amounts. Finance Department Police Investigation Fire Department Recreation Center Maintenance Shop (1400 Interurban So Section 3. Resolution No. 1132 is hereby repealed.
