A RESOLUTION ordering the construction of side walk along
North side of Main Street from Pacific Highway to Highland
Drive, at the expense of the abutting property.
Whereas the Superintendant of Streets and the
Street Committe of the Town of Tukwila have reported to the Town Council
that the public safety and convenience demand that a walk be re -built
and replaced on the North side of Malin Street beginning at the New
Pacific Highway and running thence in a Westerly direction to the
intersection of said Main Street with Highland Drive in the Town of
Tukwila, NOW, TH;REFORE, PE IT RESOLVED,
That a board walk commencing at the New pacific Highway
and running thence in a westerly directio n along the north side of Main
Street in the Town of Tukwila to the intersection of said Main Street with
Highland Drive in said Town be constructed, at the expense of the abutting
property, in the side -walk area, to -wit, between the north margin of said
Main Street and the roadway lying in front of and adjacent to the property
below described:
Lot 27, Block 8 Hillman Seattle Garden Tracts.
Lot 26, Block 8
Lot 25, Block 8
Lot 24, Block 8
Lot 23, Rlook 8
Lot 71, Block 8
Lot 30, Block 8
Lot 29, Block 8
Lot 28, Block 8
Said walk to be constructed of sound fir lumba =rand to be six
feet wide and two inches thick. Method of construction in front of the
below described to be as follows and at the following estimated cost per
lot: Benches of 4 "X4" timbers, with 4 "X6" caps, to be not over 8 centers
all constructed to grade. 100.00

And Be It Further RESOLVED that notice, in the manner provided
by law, be given to the several owners of the property above described
ordering the construction of the above described walk and that there be
provided in s uch notice that unless said walk shall have been constructed
on or before October 10th, 1916, the Town of Tukwila will on that date
construct said walk and cause the expense of such construction to be asses-
sed against the owners of the several lots in front of which said walk is
to be constructed.
