A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN 0 TUK'? LA
Y IT .RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila; That,
WHEREAS, it had duly come to the attention of the
officials of the. Town of Tukwila that the oard of county
Commissioners of King County, Igashington, inspite of the
protest of this Town, as evidenced by resolution of March 13,
1917, were about to let a contract to pave the New Pacific
Highway from the Thuwam.teh River :Bridge on the North to the
whits River 73ridge at Renton Junction on the South, with non
cretc and not with briar as had been proniieed to this Town in
consideration for the grant oE" the right of war for said road,
and
iR. 3A3, at an informal meeting of the Council, held
on April let, 1917, the Mayor and the Corporation Counsel were
instructed to take such legal steps a3 ?'1-; .cht be necessary to
preserve the rights of the Town of Tukwila, which said off'tcia3e
forthwith proceeded to do by brining an action enjoining said
County Commissioners f roan paving naid highway with any other
paving than brick a5 agreed upon,

said Mayor and said Corporation Counsel in bringing such action
be and the same hereby is in all respects ratified and confirm-
ed, u-
ed, and said official are hereby authorised and instructed to
proceed with and press said action in all the Courts pf this
State and to inourr the expense necessary therefor.
Passed the Council of the Town of Tukwila and signed
by me in authentication of its passage this 10th dam; Of April,
