A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN CODICIL OF THE TOWN OF
TUKWILA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPOINT ANY DER OF THE
COUNCIL AS ACTING SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS PROVIDING THAT
SUCH OFFICER SHALL ACT WITHOUT COMPENSATION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council cf the Town of
Tukwila as follows:
First. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to appoint as acting superintendent of streets any
member of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila, such
officer to serve without compensation and at the pleasure
of the Mayor.
Second. Such Acting Superintendent of Streets is
hereby authorized and empowered to employ such labor and to
purchase such material as may be necessary to keep the streets,
side walks, drains and sewers of the Town in proper repair:
Provided, however, that no labor so employed shall ever be
paid in excess of forty cents per hour.
Third. All ordinances or resolutions, and particu-
larly Resolution No. 1, passed January 12th, 1915, in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Passed the Twon Council of the Town of Tukwila and
signed by mein authentication of its passage this 14th day
of August, A. D. 1917.
