Poundmaster shall be compensated for the care and feed of animals
impounded, in addition to the fee of 4,00 for such impounding, the
suns of Fifty cents ($.50) for each day or part of a day, computing
time from midnight, that any or each animal may be detained, and that
he shall take such necessary measures as shall be required for the
proper care and feeding of such animal or animals; and,
WHEREAS, The price of forage of all kinds and of labor has advanced to such
an extent since the passage of said Ordinance No. 35 that it is now
impossible to feed and care for, in a proper manner, animals at the
rate of Fifty cents 0.50) per day as provided for in said Ordinance
No. 35;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF TUKWILA, That the price
of feeding and caring for any animal or animals for each day or
part of day, computing time from midnight, shall be One Dollar
($1.00) per each anima]. for the time such animal shall be detained
in the Public Pound of the Town of Tukwila.
Adopted by the Town Council in regular session and signed by me in
