CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS IN THE TOWN OF TUKWILA, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION No. el at a regular meeting, the ation authorizing the construction of said Town; and, WHEREAS, Bids were advertised for such construction; and on the 17th day of July bids were opened by the Town Council at an adjourned meeting and said bids werefound to be for a higher price per linear foot than the estimates of the Superintendent of Streets and it was deemed by the Town Council to be impracticable to constatuct :aid sidewalks at this tune. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OFTTUKWILA That Resolution No.: "it-' be, and the same is, hereby repealed and of no effect, and that the Town Clerk be authorized to notify the several property owners interested that the Notice heretofore sent 'them in accordance with said Resolution No....„/ Y; ordering them to build said sidewalks on or before certain date, is hereby cancelled, and that they are severally relieved from the necessity of building said sidewalks, excepting from said notice the Owners of Lots One and Tweity (1 20), Block Seven (7). AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL That the Town Clerk also notify said property owners, excepting from said Notice the Owners of said Lots 1 and 20, .Block 7, and also excepting the property owners on the Pacific Highway, formerly Reitz Avenue, from said Notice, that it is the inten- tion of the Town of Tukwila to grade certain Streets, Avenues and Boulevards in said Town, and that in order to carry on this work of grading, as aforesaid, it will be .necessary to remove all existing sidewalks until such grading shall have been completed; and that each property owner interested is giSren the option of removing such sidewalk along his, her or ,their property, or of paying the Town of Tukwila for such service. And the Town Clerk is also instructed to no- tify such property owners that after the completion of said grading operations they will be given the option of replacing the sidewalks so removed, at their own proper cost and expense, repairing the same to meet the requirements of the Street Superintendent, or may build new sidewalks in accordance with the speci- fications authorized by the Town Council and to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL, That a sidewalk be con- structed on the North side of Tukwila Avenue from its intersection with Main Street to ite intersection with Riverside Avenue, all in accordance with the Sidewalk Specifications heretofore published by the Town of Tukwila and under the sale restrictions and regulations as appears in Resolution No. this day repealed. ion of its passage, Mayo r.
