A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CONDEMNING OF CERTAIN SIDEWALKS ADJOINING
THE PACIFIC HIGHWAY AND REMOVAL OF SAME.
Whereas, the Superintendent of Streets and the Street Committee of the
Town of Tukwila have reported that the sidewalks adjoining the west side of the
Pacific Highway from the Prior property to the Bluff are in an unsafe and dangerous
condition and''that the public safety and convenience demand that such sidewalks be
condemned and that a suitable sidewalk be constructed in its place as soon as pro-
vision can be made therefore.
Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said sidewalk under consideration be
and is hereby condom ned. and that the public is hereby warned that in travelling on
er upon said sidewalk they do so at their own risk and peril.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice in the manner provided by law be given
to the several owners of the abutting property, that the above described sidewalks
adjacent to their respective property shall be removed within 30 days from the date
of this resolution, and if not removed the Town of Tukwila will on that date remove
said sidewalk and cause the expense of such removal to be assessed against the
owners of the abutting property.
Passed by the Town Council and signed by me in authentication of its passage
this 12th day of July, A. D. 1920.
