require that additional parking space be provided for automobiles
along the Pacific Highway adjacent to the Railway Station in the
Town of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, the only available space for such parking is
upon property owned by the Puget Sound.Electric Railway,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Council of the Town of Tukwila request the
Puget Sound Electric Railway to grant to laid Town, an easement
covering the use of a tract of land, Fifteen (15) Feet in width,
beginning at the intersection of Main Street and the Pacific
Highway and extending along the East side of said Pacific
Highway, South, for a distance of One Hundred and Fifty (150)
Feet, for the purpose of parking automobiles,
And be it further resolved, that should the Puget
Sound Electric Railway desire at any time to regain the use of
the property above mentioned, said easement could be cancelled
by furnishing to the Town of Tukwila, Thirty (30) Days written
notice thereof.
Passed the Town Council and signed by me in authenti-
cation of its passage this 9th day of October, A. D. 1924.
