WHEREAS, At the present time in the. Torn of Tukwila the supply of water is
utterly inadequate, espeoia1ly when the dry season arrives, thereby greatly in-
creasing the fire hasard, and also increasing an ever present danger of epidemic
due to possible contamination of the water in the wells which are our present
source of supply; and,
WHEREAS, There are at present in the Town of Tukwila O.7 registered
voters; and,

of the above registered voters protest-
ing agiEine$ the inclusion of said Town of Tukwila in a water District about to
be formed comprising in a general way all of School District No. 144, and
requesting that an election be called at as early date as possible for the
purpose of voting on the question of issuing bonds to provide an adequate
water system for the Town of Tukwila;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
that the Hon. Board of County Commissioners of King County be hereby requested
to call a Special Election in said Towndpf Tukwila at as early date as possible,
for the purpose of voting on the question of Bonds in an amount not to exceed
the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars (030,000.00), consisting of Eleven Thousand
Dollars 011,000.00) General Obligation Bonds, and Nineteen Thousand Dollars
019,000.00) Local Improvement District and /Or General Utility Bonds for the
purpose of securing an adequate Water System to the Town of Tukwila.

tion of its passage, this 26TH DAY OF MAY 1926.
