WHEREAS, During the past five years Mr. Joe Aliment has served
the Town of Tukwila in a capable and efficient manner
as Councilman, devoting a great amount of his time
and energy towards the improvement of the Town of
Tukwila, with no thought of recompence or remuneration
for himself; and
WHEREAS, He has co- operated with the Council to the fullest
extent on all matters, and, as chairman of the Street
committee, has helped to.give to the Town of Tukwila,
streets comparable with the best in the State of
Washington;, and
WHEREAS, He has at all times lived up to his oath of office
and has given to the people of Tukwila his best effort:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TUKWILA
THAT we the members of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
express a sincere vote of thanks and appreciation to
Mr. Joe Aliment for the faithful and efficient manner
in which he has served the Town of Tukwila and the
office of Councilman for the past five years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution, signed
by all the members of the Council, be presented to
Mr. Aliment as a moment() of the high esteem in which
they hold him and also of the action taken by the
Council of the Town of Tukwila.
PASSED the Town Council and signed by me in authentication of
its passage, this 4th. day of June 1951.
