Whereas during the last five years Elmer Wootan has served
the Town of Tukwila in a most capable and efficient
manner as Councilmember of said Town and
Whereas he has devoted a great amount of his time and energy
toward the upbuilding and improvement of said Town
with no thought of remuneration for himself ably
representing the Fire Department at the Council table
and
Whereas he has at all times cooperated to the fullest extent with
the various members of the official family of the said
Town
Now therefore be it resolved by the Council of the town of
Tukwila
that a hearty and sincere vote of thanks and appreciation be
tendered Mr. Wootan for the faithful and efficient
manner in which he has served the Town of Tukwila in
the capacity of Councilmember for the last five years,
and be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution
signed by members of the Council be presented to Mr. Wootan
as a memento of the high esteem in which they
hold him and also of the action takena t this time.
Passed the Town Council and signed me in authentication of its
passage this 2nd day of July 1951.
