SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER /PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Calling the meeting to order at 8:58 p.m. was Mayor Steven M. Mullet.
ROLL CALL:
Calling the roll of Council was Bob Baker, Deputy City Clerk. Present were Council President Richard
Simpson; and Councilmembers Joe Duffle; Joan Hernandez; Pam Carter; Jim Haggerton; Pamela Linder, and
Dave Fenton.
Steven M. Mullet, Mayor; John McFarland, City Administrator; Lucy Lauterbach, Legislative Analyst; Bob
Baker, Deputy City Clerk; and Jim Morrow, Public Works Director.
CONSENT AGENDA:
Approval of Vouchers #235669- 235808, in the amount of 292,192.06
HERNANDEZ MOVED; LINDER SECONDED; APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED.
The motion carried 7 -0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion Approving Land Purchase
Councilmember Carter noted an agreement has been reached between the owners and the City to purchase
the Country Vittles Restaurant. Purchase of the Country Vittles will assist the City in their efforts as they relate
to the Tukwila Village project.
CARTER MOVED; LINDER SECONDED; APPROVAL TO PURCHASE COUNTRY VITTLES RESTAURANT,
AT 14212 TUKWILA INTERNATIONAL BOULEVARD, FOR $725,000.00, AND EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY
PAPERWORK TO ACQUIRE THE PROPERTY. The motion carried 7 -0.
9:00 p.m. CARTER MOVED; LINDER SECONDED; TO ADJOURN THE SPECIAL MEETING.
