O. 1)aker, Uayor To the Mayor, and To the Members of the Town Council Town of Tukwila Tukwila, Washington Dear Friends: It is with sincere appreciation that I thank you for the sympa- thy expressed in your Resolution No. 93 passed by your Council comment- ing on the death of Mr. Latimer and the work performed by him while employed by the Town of Tukwila in years past. Mr. Latimer always took a personal interest in the affairs of his community and the people therein. He had a great love for people and the good things of life, and always felt that by individuals and communities working together it was a step toward betterment of that district and made a happier place in which to live and bring up the children. He felt he had made many friends here since moving to the district twenty years ago, and Itin sure he would be very grateful of the concern of his many friends at his passing. I know I am at a loss for the right words to say to adequately thank you for the thoughtfulness which prompted your Resolution, but please know I am indeed deeply appreciatiof that thoughtfulness. He was a good husband and father; and the children daughter Jean and son Hugh both join with me in thanking you for your kind- ness, and also for having sent us a copy of the Resolution.
