Whereas Mr. MuyronG. Slade who for many years was Street and Water
Superintendent of the Town of Tukwila has been called by death; and
Whereas Mr. Slade during his years as Superintendent was very conscientious
often doing more than was required of him;
taking great pride in his work so that the excellent streets
of Tukwila are a monument to his untiring effort; and
Whereas we who knew him feel his death a personal loss;
Now therefore be it resolved by the Town Council of the
Town of tukwila Washington
That we the council of Town of Tukwila do hereby express our
profound grief and sorrow and to the wife and daughter
in this their hour of bereavement we extend our sincere
sympathy.
And be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution signed
by all the members of the Town Council be presented to the
family of Mr. Slade as a momento of the high esteem in which
we held him and will ever remember him.
Passed the Town Council and approved by the Mayor this third day of
January 1955.
