WHEREAS,
Mr. Darwin A. Dibble, a former Polioe Judge of the Town
of Tukwila and our friend, has been palled by death; and
Mr. Dibble, fading a most difficult task in reactivating
the Offioe of Police Judge, which 'dad been vacant for
thirty -five years, establish4d, after months of inquiry
and careful preparation, a Court of dignity and integrity;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dibble, during his more than four years as Police
Judge, gave generously of his time, performing the duties
of his Office with impartial justice and fairness; and
WHEREAS, we who knew him feel his death a personal loss;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
THAT we the Council of The Town of Tukwila do hereby express our
profound grief and sorrow, and to the mother and sister,
in this their hour of bereavement, we extend our sincere
sympathy.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution, signed
by all the members of the Town Council be presented to
the family of Mr. Dibble as a memento of the high esteem
in which we held him and will ever remember him.
PASSED the Town Council and approved by the Mayor this fifth day
of March 1956.
