WHEREAS, during the past seven years Mr. Nick Heinz has served
the Town of Tukwila as Town Marshal and has fulfilled
the duties of his office in e. capable and efficient
manner; and
WHEREAS, at the beginning of his term of office Mr. Heinz served
effectively under difficulties, with little equipment,
using his own automobile for patrol duty, since the town
had, at that time, no regular police car; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Heinz, during these years, proved himself to be a
superior Police Officer, of a friendly disposition,
making many friends for the town as he performed the
duties of his office, enforcing the Laws of the State of
Washington and the ordinances of the. Town of Tukwila;
NOW BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF T KWILA
THAT we the members of the Town Council ezpress our sincere appreci-
ation to Mr. Heinz.for his faithful and devoted service as
Town Marshal during these past seven years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution, signed by
all members of the Council, be presented to Mr. tteinz as
a memento of the high esteem in which they hold him and
also of the action taken by the Council of the Town of
Tukwila.
PASSED the Town Council and signed by the Mayor and Councilmen
this 5th day of January, 1959.
