HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0133 - LID (Local Improvement District) - Trunk Water Mains and Auxiliary Water SystemRESOLUTION declaring the intention of the Town of Tukwila to order a local improvement and to establish a local improvement district for the construction of trunk water mains and an auxiliary water system. WHEREAS, certain areas of the Town of Tukwila and particu- larly the industrial areas are not adequately served by trunk water mains and lack auxiliary water systems, and WFE REAS, the establishment of trunk water mains, hydrants, and auxiliary water systems are necessary and proper to the immediate orderly and safe development of the said. area of the Town, and WHEREAS, said area of the Town. presently lacks adequate fire protection facilities by reason of the absence of fire hydrants and adequate water supply, and WHEREAS, the owners of undeveloped industrial property have advised the Town that certain industries will shortly commence construc- tion in said industrial area and will require water service available, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: RESOLUTION NO. 133 Town of Tukwila (1) That the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila does declare its intention to order a local improvement, to wit: The construction of trunk water mains and an auxiliary water system, together with services and appurtenances thereto. (2) The territorial extent of the improvement is as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incor- porated herein by this reference as though fully set forth. (3) The nature of the local improvement in detail is as set forth on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though fully set forth. (4) All persons who may desire to object may appear and present their objections before the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila or sub-committee thereof, at the Town Hall, 14475 59th Avenue So. Tukwila,Washingtgn at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on the 6th day of March 1961. (5) This resolution shall be published in at least two consecutive issues of the Daily Journal of Commeroe(name of newspaper), the first publics- tion to be at least fifteen (15) days before the above hearing date.
