WHEREAS, we the members of the Tukwila Town Council believe in
the above prinoi Iee; and
WHEREAS. during the past fourteen years, Mr. Julius Giant has
permitted and encouraged his employee, Charles G. Baker, in fu1
filling his duties as Mayor of the Town of Tukwila) and
WHEREAS, during these years it has been often necessary for the
Mayor to use numerous hours of his employer's time in performing
the duties of his offieej
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Takwila Town Council
That we the members of the Tukwila Town Council express a
sinoere vote of thanks and appreeiatioia to me* Julius Gland for
being a public minded eitiaen who not only shows an interest in
the affairs of a small munioipe.ity but who actively encourages
his employees to participate in the development of their community
and because of his astute participation and encouragement we find
our town has moved forward during these years) and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council take this action to
command Mr. Giant for his conduct as a leading citizen and an
understanding business man in this damcoratio country of ours and
RELIT FURTHER RESOLVED that thin Resolution shall, be placed
among the records of the Town of Tukwila and that a copy thereof,
signed by all the Couaoiisan,ahall be presented to Mr, Slant as a
memento of the high ester in ^erhi.ah they hold him and also of the
action taken by the Council of the Town of Tukwila,,
