HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-09-04 - Public Hearing - Tukwila Commuter Rail Station Permit and Design Reviewp J o Q 190 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila Citv Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following: An Unclassified Use Permit and Design Review approval for a permanent Tukwila Commuter Rail Station on property located at 7301 Longacres Way in Tukwila. The site is generally bounded by Longacres Way on the north, Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad on the east, Strander Boulevard, when extended, on the south, and Union Pacific railroad on the west. The project will consist of two 600 foot platforms, shelters, parking, a bus transfer area, bike cage, public art and landscaping. Applicant. Sotind Transit. All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the Citv Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Tukwila Citv Hall is wheelchair accessible.
