Resolution 158
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila and the Duwamish Fire
Department #1 and Foster Fire District #18, desire to enter
into a mutual agreement to pool fire equipment in the event of
a major fire or other disaster in any of the three fire districts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, that in the event of a major fire or other dis-
aster in anyone of the three aforementioned fire districts,
Tukwila equipment and men shall be made available to the district
having the fire or disaster, provided, however, that at least
three (3) men and one (1) truck, shall at all times remain in
the Tukwila district.
FURTHER, that this agreement between said fire districts
shall be performed in accordance with the Volunteer Mutual Agree-
ment attached hereto and the Fire Chief of Tukwila is hereby
authorized to perform in accordance with that agreement.

Rules Governing Men and Equipment

REMARKS
The fire departments of Dumamish Foster and the City of Tukwila believe
this voluntary aitat;tal Aid Pro: ram will be of great benifit to all three disc=
riots in the event of a major fire or other disaster in one of the three areas('
Therefore Ne are asking the commissioners of the three agora mentioned
fire protection districts to concur on this plan by signing this agreement
on a voluntary bare;
