WHEREAS, Chief Earl Parker has retired from the Tukwila
Police Force and,
WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Tukwila appreciate
the devotion to duty which was characterized and exemplified
by Chief Earl Parker and,
WHEREAS, Chief Earl Parker will always be remembered
for doing a difficult task with tact, thoughtfulness and thor-
oughness,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Tukwila
takes this opportunity to express its gratitude and apprecia-
tion to Chief Earl Parker for a job well done and further extends
its best wishes for a happy and well- earned retirement.
PASSED by the City Council this 15th day of July, 1963.
