A RESOLUTION CLOSING PORTIONS OF 180th STREET
AND THE ORILLA BRIDGE IN THE CITY OF TUKWILA
TO MOTOR VEHICLES WHOSE GROSS WEIGHT EXCEEDS
TEN TONS.
WHEREAS, portions of 180th Street and the Orilla Bridge
in the City of Tukwila have been damaged by hauling activities
and its continued use by motor vehicles of a gross weight ex-
ceeding ten tons will greatly damage said street and bridge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
That that portion of 180th Street commencing at 57th
Street and running easterly to the West Valley Highway, including
the Orilla Bridge is closed to all vehicles whose gross weight
exceeds ten tons until that portion of 180th Street can be
repaired and improved.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that an emergency exists regarding
this closure and the Tukwila Street Superintendent is directed
to post said street with notices at each end of the closed
portion and at all intersecting streets.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 4th day of May, 1964.
