A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE
PORTIONS OF SOUTH 180th STREET AND SOUTH CENTER
PARKWAY BY EXCAVATING AND GRADING INCLUDING CURBS AND
GUTTERS, ASPHALT PAVING, LIGHTING, DRAINAGE, AND LAND
ACQUISITION ON EITHER SIDE OF THE EXISTING STREET;
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE A PORTION OF SOUTH
178th STREET BY RECONSTRUCTING AND RELOCATING THE STREET
INCLUDING PAVING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE, RELOCATION
AND LAND ACQUISITION, REGRADING AND DRAINAGE; DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO FURTHER IMPROVE SOUTH CENTER PARKWAY BY THE
INSTALLATION OF A STORM SEWER ON THE EAST AND WEST
SIDES OF SOUTH CENTER PARKWAY AS DESCRIBED HEREIN TOGETHER
WITH NECESSARY PIPES AND MANHOLES; AND NOTIFYING ALL
PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT
TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON THE 27th DAY OF
NOVEMBER, 1967.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, as follows:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Tukwila, Washington, to order the following improvements:
(1) To improve South 180th Street from the Green River to
the South Center Parkway and for South Center Parkway from South 180th
Street to Strander Boulevard including curbs and gutters, asphalt paving,
lighting, drainage, and land acquisition on either side of the existing
street. The property to be benefited is described in Description "A"
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as though fully set forth;
being one continuous improvement.
(2) To improve South 178th Street from South Center Parkway
Westerly to the west margin of the City of Tukwila, Washington, by pavinc
with Portland cement concrete, relocation, regrading, and drainage. The
property to be benefited is described in Description "B" attached hereto
and incorporated by reference as though fully set forth; being one con-
tinuous improvement.
(3) To improve by the installation of a storm sewer the
west side of South Center Parkway from Minkler Boulevard to several
hundred feet northerly of South 180th Street. This storm sewer includes
pipe from 18 -inch to 42 -inch in diameter together with the necessary
manholes. The property to be benefited is described in Description "C"
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as though fully set for .h;
being one continuous improvement.
(4) To improve by the installation of a storm sewer the east
side of South Center Parkway north of the east -west centerline of Sec-
tion 26, Township 23 North, Range 4 East W.M. and will be approximately
600 feet long. This pipe is 24 -inch in diameter. The property to be
benefited is described in Description "D" attached hereto and incorpor-
ated by reference as though fully set forth; being one continuous improve
ment.
Section 2. That the total estimated cost of each continuous
unit of said improvement is hereby declared to be as follows:

At least $952,340.00 and possibly 90% of the cost of Unit(1)
shall be paid from funds derived from the State of Washington Urban
Arterial Board. That the entire remaining cost and expense of such
improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially
benefitted by such improvement. That there shall be included in the
cost and expense of said improvement all cost items specified in RCW
35.44.020. That the assessment rates shall be computed on the basis of
the cost and expense of each continuous unit of said improvement as
above described.

Section 3. That all persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and present
such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, at 8:00 o'clock
p.m. on November 27, 1967, which time and place are hereby fixed for
hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objec-
tions thereto and for determining the method of payment for said improve-
ment.
Section 4. That Hill Ingman, City Engineers, are hereby
directed to submit to the City Council, on or prior to the 12 day of
November, 1967, all data and information required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Tukwila, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof this 6
day of November, 1967.

Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly margin of Strander
Blvd. and the North -South centerline of Section 26, Township 23 North,
Range 4 East W.M.
Thence Easterly along said margin a distance of 340 feet.
Thence Southerly along a line 340 feet East of and parallel with
said North -South centerline a distance of 3064 feet;
Thence in a Southeasterly direction to a point on the South line of
said Section 26, said point being 430 feet Easterly of the Southwest
corner of the Southeast 4 of said Section 25. Said point also being
on the North line of Section 35, Township 23 North, Range 4 East W.M.;

Thence in a generally Westerly direction along the centerline of
said 178th Street to the West line of the Northeast 4 of the Northwest
4 of said Section 35;
Thence Northerly along the West line of said subdivision to the
Northwest corner thereof, being also the Southeast corner of the South-
west 4 of the Southwest 4 of Section 26, Township 23 North, Range 4
East W.M.
Thence Northerly along the East line of said Southwest 4 of the
Southwest 4 to the South line of the North z of the North i of the

Thence Westerly along said South line to the Easterly margin of
