WHEREAS, a portion of the State of Washington Highway, known
as secondary State Highway 2 -M, is inside the City limits of the City
of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, it is the determination of the Council of the City
of Tukwila after conferring with the Tukwila Police Department that
parking regulations are necessary on said highway to assure safety and
flow of traffic,
BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Tukwila, in accordance with RCW 47.
(11), requests that the Washington State Highway Commission approve no
parking restrictions on the east side of Washington State secondary
State Highway 2 -M beginning at a point 800 feet north of the intersection
of 58th Avenue South and said secondary State Highway 2-M and extending
200 feet in a northerly direction along said State Highway in the
City of Tukwila° It is requested that the placement of no parking signs
be approved for this area,
APPROVED AND PASSED by the City Council of the City of
