WHEREAS, on August 2nd and 3rd the City of Tukwila celebrated Tukwila
Days in commemoration of :it is SIXTIETH year as an incorporated city; and,
WHEREAS, each activity and event of the Tukwila Days Celebration was
most interesting and greatly enjoyed by the citizens of our city; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Tukwila Days Committee worked hard and
faithfully to make the Celebration a real success:
NO'r, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
that, we the members of the Tukwila City Council, realizing the devoted and faithful
service rendered by the Tukwila Days Committee„ extend our sincere thanks and deep
appreciation to the members of said Committee, whose names follow:.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be
placed on file among the records of the City of Tukwila and that a copy thereof
shall be presented to each organization which served as a member of the Tukwila
Days Cornrnittee, as a token of the grateful thanks of the Tukwila City Council.
ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of Tukwila this 19th day of
August, 1968.
