A RESOLUTION accepting sewage lift station on Andover
Park West and Minkler Boulevard in accordance with
Sammamish Commercial Company's Developer's Agreement
WEfEREAS, the City of Tekwila and Sammamish Commercial Company have entered
into a Developers Agreement whereby Sammamish Commercial will construct certain
sanitary sewage facilities at it's own cost for connection with, delivery to, and
operation of the City, and
WHEREAS, Sammamish Commercial Company has constructed a.sewage lift station
on Andover Park West and Minkler Boulevard, and
WHEREAS, Sammamish Commercial wishes to assign and convey said facility to
the City of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, Hill, ingman, Chase Company, City Engineers, have inspected said
lift station and find it conforms to the requirements of the City of Tukwila.
NOW, to m ORE, BE IT. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila to
accept said facility for maintenance and operation by the dity of Tukwila, subject to
the following stipulations:
1. In the event that defects, due to faulty labor, workmanship or materials
appear within one year from date of acceptance by the City, the Developer shall, at his
own expense correct the same..
2. The Developer shall deliver to the City a. bond in the amount of 15% of
construction costs that a :reliable contractor will make and pay for repairs, within one
year from the date of acceptance of the sewage lift station, arising from said faulty
labor, workman ship or materials.
3.. The form of the bond shall be approved by the attorney for the City.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON this 2
day of October, 1968.
