HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0219 - Accept Pressure Reducing Station on Southcenter ParkwayCITY OF WHEREAS, certain developers within the area have constructed a, pressure reducing station at their own cost for connection with, delivery to, and operation of the City, and WE said developers wish to assign and convey the facility to the City of Tukwila, and WHEREAS, Hill Ingman, Chase Company, City Engineerr Consultants, have inspected said facility and find it conforms to the requirements of the City of Tukwila. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of TUkwila to accept said facility for maintenance and operation by the City of Tukwila subject to the following stipulations: 11. In the event that defects, due to faulty labor, workmanship or materials appear within one year from date of acceptance by the City, the Developers shall, at their own expense correct the same. 2. The Developers shall deliver to the City a bond in the amount of 15% of construction costs that a reliable contractor will make and pay for repairs within one year from date of acceptance of the pressure reducing station, arising from said faulty labor, workmanship or materials. 3. The form of the bond shall be approved by the City Attorney. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON this d day of January, 1969.
