WHEREAS,, Helen B. Nelsen has honorably served the City
of Tukwila as a member of its Council since 1966, and
WHEREAS,, during this time she has cooperated to the
fullest extent with members of the Council and worked diligently
on the numerous committees to which she was appointed, and
WHEREAS,. Councilwoman Nelsen has given selflessly of
her time and effort as a member of the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Tukwila, Washington:
That, we the members of the Tukwila City Council, express
our sincere appreciation to Miss Nelsen for her faithful service
to the City for the past 32 years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution,
signed by members of the Council be presented to Helen B. Nelsen
as a memento of her contribution to the good government of the
City of Tukwila.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington this 15th day of December, 1969.
