WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 240
A RESOLUTION of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, encouraging the submission
and application for a low rent housing
program for the Citizens of the City of
Tukwila.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila, a municipality of the third class of
the State of Washington, hereby determines that there may be a potential
need for low rent housing to meet needs not being adequately met by pri-
vate enterprise within its City Limits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA., WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution to
be prepared and sent to the Housing Authority of the County of King, Wash-
ington, encouraging applications for dwelling units to be provided by leas-
ing privately -owned housing under Section 23 of the United States Housing
Act of 1937, as amended. Said dwelling units are to be safe, sanitary,
and decent in compliance with all laws, including the local Ordinances of
the City of Tukwila.
PASSED this 19th day of January, 1970 at a regular meeting of the
Tukwila City Council..
