WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila pursuant to Water System
Improvements North Section Contract 1 -70, HUD WS- Wash -74, has
received a low bid in the amount of $297,752.50 from Bert
Robison Construction, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment requires a statement of intention to accept said bid
providing certain conditions occur.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that expressly upon
the occurence of the following two conditions the City shall
award said bid to the Bert Robison Construction Company, Inc.
The conditions are
1. Written approval from the Department of Housing and Urban
Development of the awarding of said contract to Bert Robison
Construction Co., Inc., and
2. Adequate financing of said project as determined solely in
the opinion of the Department of Housing and Urban Development
and the City of Tukwila.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila
this 4th day of May, 1970.
