CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Hougardy called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.

II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Interlocal Atueement: Orillia Road Annexation
Staff is seeking Council approval to hold a public hearing and enter into an interlocal agreement (ILA) Nvith
King Count- for annexation of the Orillia Road area per the legal description included on page 0 of the
Committee agenda packet.
Per a previous agreement with King Count-, the City of Tulcivila was to initiative the annexation via ILA
(as alloyed by the Revised Code of Washington) after annexing TukNvila South. In 2(_)(_)9, the City Council
approved a resolution to begin negotiations for the interlocal agreement. The draft interlocal agreement..
which sets for the annexation terms, is novv complete and ready for signature.
Prior to the ILA being signed, an open house and public hearing will be held on the ILA, as well as
proposed zoning for the area. This annexation is expected to generate approximately $11,600 of annual
revenue for the City. Committee Member Robertson expressed concerns regarding unforeseen costs
resulting from annexation of the area. UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER 24
COW FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND DISCUSSION.
