students and adults io the State ofVVashin�ton for four decades; and
WHEREAS, lacrosse is nov, plaved and celebrated by over 10,000 youth, high school
students and adults tbzoo�bouLdheStatenfVVa*bio�ton;and
WHEREAS, lacrosse is the fastest grovving sport in the United States and the State of
Washington; and
WHEREAS, Tukwila is proud of its youth and adults vvho play lacrosse and other
sports in community; d

Sports Complex, the first-ever N[/\A Division l lacrosse game in the State of
Washington; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of IukvvUa are privileged to welcome student-athletes,
coaches, staff, a|uonni and fans from the University of Maryland and the University of
Denver to their coo71n71onitv,
WHEREAS, all of the lacrosse players from the University of Maryland, the
University of Denver, the State of VVasbioaLon and the City of Tokrvi|a are remarkable
athletes, role models and local heroes of the youth of our City;
