WHEREAS a fire occurred in the City of Tukwila on
September 24, 1970, damaging and destroying public property and
impairing the ability of the Police and Fire Departments to carry
out their necessary functions.
WHEREAS M. A. Segale, Inc., immediately, voluntarily
and without compensation made available to the Police Department
trailer facilities which enabled the department to render necessary
municipal services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT-RESOLVED
That the City of Tukwila by and through its Mayor and
City Council and on behalf of all the citizens of Tukwila hereby
expresses its appreciation for and to M. A. Segale, Inc., for its
contribution to the City in a time of stress and unforeseen disaster.
Their contributions to the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
is gratefully acknowledged.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA and
signed by the Mayor this 1st day of November, 1971.
