WHEREAS, Frank W. Zepp has been a dedicated employee
of the City of Tukwila since January 17, 1955, and
WHEREAS, during this time Mr. Zepp has served as
Street Superintendent, Water Superintendent, Sewer Superintendent,
Park Superintendent, Superintendent of Lighting, Building Official,
City Superintendent and City Supervisor, and
WHEREAS, during these 17 years of service, Mr. Zepp has
fulfilled the many duties assigned to him, giving his time and
efforts for the improvement of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Tukwila
That we, the members of the Tukwila City Council, on behalf
of the citizens and employees of the City of Tukwila express our
sincere appreciation to Mr. Zepp for his faithful and devoted
service while being a 'Man of Many Hats
During his years of service the City has grown at a rapid
pace causing his duties and responsibilities to be increased far
beyond those existing when he came to the City. However, Mr. Zepp's
knowledge and abilities have kept pace with his ever increasing
assignments of duties and his faithful devotion to the City is
greatly appreciated by all.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution,
signed by the Mayor and all members of the Council be presented
to Mr. Zepp as he retires from duty as a memento of their deep
appreciation and also of the action taken by the Tukwila City Council.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila this
6th day of March, 1972.
