AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PRESERVATION OF PUBLIC MORALITY, PRACE, SAFETY AND GOOD ORDER OF THE TOWN OF TUgKTILA. Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Tudkwila. Section 1. Fighting, Dnankeness, Disturbing the peace, Im- oral Practice it shall be unlawful for any person to be guilty of fighting, drunkeness or of riotous or disorderly conduct, or of any conduct tending to disturb the public peace, or to use any profane or abus- ive language or to engage in any act or practice whereby the peace or quiet of the town of Tu4kmila may be disturbed, or to use any obscene language or be guilty of any indecent or irimoral act pra,- tice or conduct fi --haling to debauch the public norals. Section 11. Concealed "Yeapons It shall be unlawful For any person to carry upon his person, any concealed weapon, consisting of either a Revolver, pistol or other firs arm or any knife(otrer than ordi- nary pocket knife) or any dirk or dagger, sling shot or metal knuckle or any instrument by the use of_e,hich injury could be inflicted upon the person or yroperty of another person: provided that this section shallm. not aprly to Peace Officers and other persons .whose or duty it is to execute process or warranV,/±-o !lake arrests. section Ill. Drawing wea:cons It shall be unkawful for a�'!y person to draw any specie of fire arm or any dirk, dagger, knife or other dangerous or deadly weapon in the. presence of another with intent to intimidate or annoy another person. t Section 1V. Disturbing the Peace It shall be unlawful for any person to use any language or indulge in any condu ^t toward another Person tending to produce a disturbance of the peace or to challenge another person to fight. Section V. Disorderly persons:- It shall be unlawful for any person to a4 or dissolute, or to go abut bP`ging, or to be lewd, wanton or lascivious in speech or behavior or to be a. co=on railer or brawler or to be habitually neglectftill of his erns loy ent or calling or not to lawfully- provide for himself or the supj ,ort of his family or to .lodge in or be found in the nig t time in any out house, shed barn unoccupied building, i p g, car, wagon or vehicle, or n the open air end not give a 'good account of himself. Section VI. Indecent Exp osizre It shall be unlawful for any person to appear in a state of nudity or in any indecent or lewd dress, or make any indecent exposure of his person or to exy.ose his prirate parts to public view or be guilty of any lewd act or behavior in any rZace exposed to public vied. Section VII. Dnfaoing or Removing Bulletins:- It shall be unlawful for any person not an officer of the Torn of Tuck to remove or destroy, or teas down or deface, either in whole or in part, or to mark or write upon, change, obliterate or mar, or in any manner alter or change the writing, printing o3Z signature, or any a? °t of such writ- ing, printing or signature, upon any bul:.etin, ndtic3e, poster or paper writing of said town, which shall be by any er__ployee or Officer of said town, placed or posted upon the Malls or other parts of any public building or public place or upon any bulletin board or other place of said town, or upon. or in any building o by said town or oocuried by it or any of its officers as a public building, or upon any bulletin board on or in any such last mention ed building or buildings. Section VIII. injury or Destruction of Structures:- It shall be unlawful for any Person to wantonly destroy, out remove deface, mark or write up- on or in any Manner injure any window, fence, gate, bridge, dwelling house, builling, hitching post, awning, railing or any other p rorertV Public or private,, not his own. Section IX. Gambling, or Swindling Games Itl shall be unlawful for any Person to engage in garbling bunco or swindling games, or to operate or have in his possdssion devices for the purpose of gambling or for the purpose of winning .or_ securing money 63-P 1 Section X, Resisting Officer:- it shall be unlawful knowlingly and wilfully resist, oppose, hinde Officer to Marshall or Deputy 'down Marshall in the discharge of any official act or duty, fuse to obey ang lawful order or direction of Officer in the discharge csf any lawful act or Section XI. for any person to r or delay any peace of the town of Tulkwila., or to neglect or re- any such peace duty. Refusing to aid in enforcing the Lair:- It shall be unlawful for any male person, over the age of eighteen (18) years, when re- quested or called upon by the tov,-n Mar hall or his deputies, or peace officer, or by the Mayor to render aid in making an arrest, or to aid in enforcing the lags and Ordinances in force in the town or to aid in piese?Tving the peace and safety of the town, or to aid in-the execution of the official c3ulsy of any l;eace officer to wil- fully refuse or neglect +.o promptly give such aid. Section XII, Words and Phrases defined The word "Person" wherever used in this ordinance shall, when nee^es --ary, be held and construed to ?mean and include natural l,ersons of either sex the singular, number shall when neceeszary, be held and construed to include the plural and nnU1► the masculine-- to include the feminine Section x111. Penalty: Any person violating or failing to eoml.ly with any of the provisions of this ordinance, shall be deened guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding ore ($100.00) Dollars or by im- prisonmEent in the town Jail not exceeding thirty (30) days. Section KIV. This Ordinance shat 1 take effect from and five (5) days after publication.
