RESOLUTION NO. 287
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION
OF STRANDER BOULAVARD.
WHEREAS, the Street Needs Study of the Urban Arterial
Board indicates a need to increase traffic capacity of Strander
Boulavard and to provide more direct access to the West Valley
Highway (S R 181),
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

1. That construction be .z_u" to extend Strander
Boulevard in an easterly direction and to bridge the Green River
with a five lane bridge facility and necessary street approaches
to intersect with the West Valley Highway (6R 181).
2. That Strander Boulavard be designated a Collector Street
of the Urban Arterial System.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
and approved by the mayor at a regular meeting thereof, this 17th day
of April, 1972.
