RESOLUTION NO 289
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR GRANT
FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO AID IN
CONSTRUCTION OF PROPOSED CITY SHOPS.
WHEREAS, funds are required for the construction of the proposed
City Shops,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
Resolve as follows:
1. That mayor Frank Todd be and he is hereby authorized to
execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Tukwila
with the Economic Development Authority, for a grant in the sum
of $224,000 to aid in construction of the proposed City Shops and
to give assurance of compliance with governmental and departmental
regulations, when required.
2. That Frank Todd, mayor, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish such information and to execute such documents as
the Economic development Authority may reasonably request in connection
with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
and approved by the mayor at a regular meeting thereof, this 1st
day of May, 1972.
