RESOLUTION NO 290
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR LOAN
TO BE USED FOR PLANNING CONSTRUCTION OF THE
PROPOSED STRANDER BRIDGE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, funds are required to meet the expense of preparing
plans for the proposed Strander Bridge Project,
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
Resolve as follows:
1. That mayor Frank Todd be and he is hereby authorized to
execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Tukwila
with the State of Washington, Department of Commerce and Economic
Development, or other appropriate agency, for a loan in the sum of
$15,000, to be used to pay the expense of preparing plans for the
proposed Strander Bridge Project.
2. That Frank Todd, mayor, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish such information and to execute such documents
as may be reasonably requested in connection with the application
which is herein authorized to be filed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
and approved by the mayor at a regular meeting thereof, this 1st
day of May, 1972.
