WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 291
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR GRANT
TO FUND 100% OF THE COST OF THE PROPOSED
STRANDER BRIDGE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, funds will be required for the proposed Strander
Bridge project,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
Resolve as follows:
1. That mayor Frank Todd be and he is hereby authorized to
execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Tukwila
with the State of Washington, Department of Commerce and Economic
Development, or other appropriate agency, for a grant in a sum
sufficient to pay 100% of the costs of constructing the proposed
Strander Bridge, and to give assurance of compliance with State
and departmental regulations, when required.
2. That Frank Todd, mayor, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish such information and to execute such documents
as the State of Washington, Department of Commerce and Economic
Development, or Other appropriate agency, may reasonably request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUICWILA, WASHINGTON,
and approved by the mayor at a regular meeting thereof, this 1st
day of May, 1972.
