SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Haggerton called the Special Tukwila City Council Meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. directly following
the Committee of the Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Melissa Hart, Acting City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present were Councilmembers Joe Duffie,
Dennis Robertson, Verna Seal, Allan Ekberg, Kathy Hougardy, De'Sean Quinn and Kate Kruller.
CITY OFFICIALS
Jim Haggerton, Mayor; Derek Speck, Economic Development Administrator; Peggy McCarthy, Finance
Director; Vicky Carlsen, Deputy Finance Director; Melissa Hart, Acting City Clerk.
CONSENT AGENDA
a. Approval of Minutes: 10/08/12 (Special Mtg.)
b. Approval of Vouchers #361727 361804 and #120900, 121002 in the amount of $987,632.90.
c. A resolution authorizing the cancellation of outstanding General Fund claims and payroll checks, 411
Fund Foster Golf Course claims checks, and Municipal Court checks. [Reviewed and forwarded to
Consent by Finance Safety Committee on 10116112.] RESOLUTION NUMBER 1778.
MOVED BY DUFFIE, SECONDED BY ROBERTSON THAT THE CONSENT AGENDA BE APPROVED
AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
a. Authorize the Mayor to sign the Disposition and Development Agreement with Tukwila Village
Development Associates, LLC, for Tukwila Village, in substantial form as the agreement in the
agenda packet.
MOVED BY SEAL, SECONDED BY KRULLER TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE
DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH TUKWILA VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT
ASSOCIATES, LLC, FOR TUKWILA VILLAGE AS AMENDED, AND IN SUBSTANTIAL FORM AS THE
AGREEMENT IN THE AGENDA PACKET. MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
ADJOURNMENT
9:02 p.m. MOVED BY DUFFIE, SECONDED BY ROBERTSON THAT THE SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL BE ADJOURNED. MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
