RESOLUTION NO. 296
C!TY OF
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 289 BY
INCREASING TIIE AMOUNT OF THE E.D.A. GRANT
APPLICATION FROM $224,000.00 TO $275,000.00, TO
AID IN CONSTRUCTION OF PROPOSED CITY SHOPS.
WIIEREAS, funds required for the construction of the proposed
city shops exceed the sum originally anticipated,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila
resolve as follows:
That Section 1 of Resolution. No. 289 be amended to read
as follows:
1. That Mayor Frank Todd be and he is hereby authorized
to execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Tukwila
with the Economic Development Authority for a grant in the sum of
$275,000.00 to aid in construction of the proposed city shops and
to give assurance of compliance with governmental and departmental
regulations when required.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, and approved by the mayor at a regular meeting thereof
this 5th day of June, 1972.
