RESOLUTION NO. 299
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO IMPROVE A PART OF THE CITY BY CONSTRUCTING
AND INSTALLING A SYSTEM OF 8 AND 12 INCH SEWER
LINES, AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF CARRYING OUT
SUCH IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTY SPECIALLY
BENEFITTED THEREBY; AND NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO
DESIRE TO OBJECT TO THE PROJECT TO APPEAR AND
PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON JULY 10, 1972.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the City
of Tukwila, Washington, to order the improvement of the property
within the City of Tukwila, Washington, described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the
improvement described in. Exhibit B, attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvement is declared to be $125,000.00. The City anticipates
receiving grants in the estimated amount of $46,000.00 to pay part
of the cost of the improvement. The balance of the actual cost
and expense of the improvement (after applying the grants), now
estimated to be $79,000.00, shall be borneby and assessed against
the property specially benefitted by such improvement to be
included in a local improvement district to be established
enbracing as near as may be all property specially benefitted
by such improvement.
Section 3,. All persons who may desire to object to
the improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear
and present such objections at a meeting to be held in. the Council
Chambers in the City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, at 8:00 P.M.
Pacific Daylight Time, on July 10, 1972, which time and place
are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to the pro-
posed improvement, and all objections thereto, and for determining
the method of payment for that improvement.
Section. 4„ Hill, Ingman, Chase Co., consulting engin-
eers, are hereby authorized to proceed with engineering work
required to prepare the preliminary assessment roll and to make
mailings to property owners, and are hereby directed to submit to
the City Council on or prior to July 10, 1972, all data and
information required by law to be submitted.
Section 5, Hill, Ingman, Chase Co., are hereby author-
ized to proceed with engineering design work of the sanitary
sewer system, including preparation of plans and specifications,
final design and related engineering work.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Tukwila, Washington, and approved by the Mayor, at
a regular meeting thereof this 5th day of June, 1972.

South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 24,
Lying Westerly of the West margin of SR 181 (So. Corp. Limits
of Tukwila to Foster Interchange right of way, Sheet 6 of 8 sheets),

the South margin of the AR -Line of Primary State Highway No. 1,
