RESOLUTION NO. 305
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING KING COUNTY AS
RECIPIENT OF SHARE OF LIQUOR PROFITS
AND TAXES OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AS
REQUIRED BY SENATE BILL NO. 298, TO
SUPPORT A COUNTY -WIDE ALCOHOLISM PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, The City of Tukwila is required by the provisions
of Senate Bill No. 298 to contribute 2% of its share of liquor
profits and taxes to an alcoholism program, and
WHEREAS, King County is a proper agency to receive such
funds to support a county -wide alcoholism program,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That King County be designated as the agency to
receive funds contributed by the City of Tukwila to support an
alcoholism program..
2. In accordance with this Resolution., the City
Treasurer is authorized and directed to pay to King County as
agency to receive funds to support a county -wide alcoholism program,
a sum equal to 2% of the funds received by the City of Tukwila
as its share of liquor profits and taxes received from the State
of Washington.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, and approved by the mayor at a regular meeting thereof
this 17th day of July, 1972.
