RESOLUTION NO 316
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF HOURS
AND ADDITIONAL SESSIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL
COURT OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
WHEREAS There are now many cases pending awaiting trial
in the Municipal Court of the City of Tukwila resulting from the
change -over from the Renton District Court to the Municipal
Court and
WHEREAS In the orderly administration of justice it is
necessary that the sessions of court be extended and that
additional sessions be schedule,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the hours of the regular session of
the sections of the Municipal Court be extended by order of the
Municipal Judge as necessary to further the administration of
justice.
Section 2. That the Municipal Judge he and he is
hereby authorized to schedule such additional court sessions
as may be required in the orderly administration of justice.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington, and approved by the Mayor this 16th day of
October, 1972.
